Membership, Outreach, Special Events and Stewardship (MOSES) Team

At St. Anthony's, we believe strongly in the Orthodox faith. It remains the same church that began when Jesus ascended into heaven at Pentecost, leaving his disciples behind to spread the "Good News." We are descendants of those disciples who spread the Word so well and so widely. We are constantly striving to reach out beyond our community and beyond our walls to bring the message of Orthodox Christianity to everyone so that they may know the truth. MOSES is our committee that is dedicated to creating new membership, making new members feel at home, and to spreading the "Good News" about our faith.

MOSES meets the second Wednesday of each month in the church and is open to all members. While this committee serves or church in many ways, the primary objectives of this team are to:

Provide training and education in evangelism to parish members.
Actively seeking to bring new members into the parish.
Maintain active records of membership.
Publicize the activities of the parish.
Encourage all members to live up to their pledge.
Maintain the covenants of the community.
Encourage all members to be involved on at least one committee.
